Nicolas Bonamici graduated in 2014 with a degree in biological chemistry from Grinnell College. Nicolas is interested in pursuing a career in medicine and medical research, particularly in the fields of surgery, pediatric oncology, or neuroscience. Nicolas’ research interests are primarily in the fields of virotherapy and stem cell biology. Specifically, he is interested in the manipulations of cancer cell stemness, tumor development, and development of tumor associated vasculature using adeno and lentiviral approaches for imaging and therapy. Nicolas hopes to extend and apply his experience in cancer biology to both basic and clinical research, as well as to the practice of medicine.
