Jawad is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Lesniak Lab. He finished his BS in Biology at the American University of Beirut (Lebanon), where he also attended medical school to acquire his MD. Concurrently, he attained an MS in Neuropsychology from the Lebanese University Neuroscience Research Center. He is mostly interested in neuro-oncology and the treatment of advanced brain tumors.
In the Lesniak Lab, Jawad explores the genetics and molecular biology of brain metastasis to advance the translation of new targeted therapies to the clinical scene.
