Mehrnoush Gorjian graduated from Tehran  University of Medical Sciences in 2011. After a  year of research, she began residency in  neurosurgery at International Neuroscience  Institute-Hannover in Germany, and took special  interest in surgical approaches to skull base. She  spent a year in the Microsurgical Skull Base  Laboratory at the Ohio Sate University and  another year at the Barrow Neurological Institute.  She has decided to pursue her neurosurgical  career in the United States and is currently  collaborating with the Nano Team at Lesniak Lab  to develop nanotherapeutic approaches for  glioblastoma.
