Dou recently joined the lab to pursue advanced  biotechnology developmental studies combining stem cell biology, nanomaterials, functional genomics, and cancer biology. He studied medicine at the Peking  University Health Science Center, received PhD in Neuroscience at Boston University with the guidance of Prof. William D. Eldred, and completed postdoctoral fellowships in biomaterial-supported Regenerative Medicine at Harvard Medical School under the mentorship of Prof. Yang D. Teng. He continues to receive mentorship from and collaborates with Prof. Robert S. Langer at MIT  while developing novel therapeutics for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) with our  group.
