Dr. Brenda Auffinger graduated from Escola Superior de Ciencias da Santa Casa de Misericordia de Vitoria (EMESCAM), in Vitoria, Brazil.  She is passionate about her profession, inspired by both research and clinical practice. She joined Dr. Lesniak’s Lab in September 2011 and her research interests are targeted therapies for human gliomas. She plans to pursue a residency in neurosurgery while maintaining an active research program.
