Annie is currently a medical student at the University of Chicago Pritzker    School of  Medicine. She graduated with honors from the University of  Michigan in 2016 with a  degree in Biochemistry. There, her undergraduate  research focused on chemokine  receptor signaling in primary and metastatic  breast cancer. She joined the Lesniak lab  to study breast cancer metastasis to  the brain. Annie hopes to pursue her interests in  medicine and cancer  research as a future physician-scientist.
